The age group and gender will dictate what type of games is going to be most appropriate. One of the most loved playground games is hide and seek. A favorite game more favored by the boys perhaps is a good game of marbles. Tag is a favorite as well and you can add a lot of variations to the game of tag.

When you’re looking at the indoor playground games then hopefully you have been able to purchase some equipment such as the indoor playground gyms that have the hiding area, the slide and some other climbing activities. One really great makeshift idea is building an indoor tent then allowing the children to have a simple lunch here. With some creative thinking there are a multitude of playground games that can be implemented.

There are schools that have taken away recess or school playground games. Why? It is the one time of the day that the kids can be kids and not worry about math or science. There are thousands of games that kids can play during recess. Kids play some games with marbles while others play games with balls. Some kids play Chinese freeze tag, while others play pretend castle. Most kids play games that they make up themselves. When the kids use their imaginations the sky is the limit.
Jump rope, hopscotch, heads up seven up, memory game, I spy; these are all games that have been created by kids. A huge plus about school playground games is that it keeps the kids active. As long as the kids are running around and staying active, let them be.
Many kids do not like school playground games or recess. School playground games and recess should be just as important as lunch.
